What is Servolution?
Springfield Servolution is a ministry initiative to mobilize people to serve outside the physical church building. Members are asked to serve a minimum of 12 hours per year with projects that Help to Empower the World.
Volunteers who reach 12 hours or more will receive a Servolution t-shirt. Servolution volunteers are recognized on designated Servolution Sundays throughout the year. Hours are accumulated annually starting in September. Hours for Servolution include: SBC’s community food drive and other community service activities outside of SBC. Examples of Servolution include volunteering at the hospital, nursing home, homeless shelter or any activity that includes serving others outside the physical walls of SBC.
How do I track my hours?
Members should record their hours using the SBC Servolution Tracking Card. Use the card to track your hours throughout the year. Keep in mind that Servolution is annually. Hours start September to September each year. Servolution Tracking Cards will be available on the last Sunday of each September. Please check the information desk or one of the Servolution Coordinators for the card.
